You might have guessed by now that I’m a huge fan of Xara software. I’ve designed and written
many web sites before but they’ve always been in Microsoft Front Page. It was only when I
discovered Xara Web Designer and more recently Xara Xtreme 5 that I realised just how easy it
could be to create really nice looking web pages.
Because Xara uses vector graphics; and has an amazingly fast graphics engine; rather than the
bitmap graphics of programs like Photoshop, there are many advantages. Just a few are,
increasing the size of a picture will not degrade the quality; blah blah blah
